The Crowd
Four Stroudies who produce some mature music for their youth. They opened with a Maccabees cover No Kind Words, familiar to the audience and getting their attention from the off. Catchy and upbeat was second song Players Hearts, showing how well they collaborate together on stage. Words...

The Suitables
Every genre under the sun came together when eight very talented musicians busied the stage with their brass band, funk, jazz, and rapping reggaed-up rock, with a mix of hip hop! Undeniably one of the most unique entries into Wired, and somewhat unexpected to those who hadn’t heard of them… and if you haven’t, you need to look...

Jim Lockey and The Solemn Sun
The much anticipated Jim Lockey and his crew delivered a spontaneous seven-song set, including the title track from their new LP Atlases. Some alt-country folk straight from the ‘shire made an amused bunch out of the heavy metal influenced audience, which says a lot about Lockey...

The Naturals
Who couldn’t appreciate this band? Their music is so refreshing and just what has been missing from many a music fan’s CD collection. They are a brilliant act live. The layers of vocals, echoing melodic guitars and syncopated drums they create entangle into a musical construction of brilliance, exploding into and dissolving from a wall of sound which is sometimes so...

Wired at the Guildhall - Saturday!
Joe from DWJ sent me this review to whet your appetites! This Saturday remember - top line up with The Naturals, 1, 2, 3 & In, Yours & Dining With James
“This was part of Greenbelt’s Fresh Talent attraction but even so… When Dining With James entered the stage my jaw dropped. They must have an average age of around 13. Not...

The Locarnos
The second instalment of Wired featured Bristol four piece with five instruments; The Locarnos. Looking stylish onstage with a sleek swagger and oozing passion and effort, front-man Josh owns a rare energy that seeps through without him running the stage. Flawless vocals with a dominant alternate sound that secured a gig at ...

change in line ups
A couple of bands have had to cancel in November and December.
Atakarma will now be replacing Select Your Disguise at the November gig.
One, Two, Three & In will replace Kaichee at the December gig.
Go have a listen to their myspace sites and check them out. Both bands are terrific and we’ll look forward to having them compliment the line ups.
