Wired is set to continue at the Guildhall for the second half of the season, breaking into the New Year offering a real mix of music genres and acts, the best of the Southwest.

16 January
The 16th January will see Cheltenham’s Jim Lockey and the Solumn Sun return to headline with his popular funk-punk melodies. Joining him in January will be Napoleon in Rags following their position as support act for Babyshambles. One man band, Theo Altiri will play an original set of upbeat indie folk tracks; the young soloist will take on an acoustic endeavour. Taking a break from folk, Base 11 will also feature in the January run. Straight from the Midlands they lay claim to distortion and drum beats that you don’t want to miss.
13 February
Let’s Tea Party will grace the stage in February with their dirty riffs and catchy lyrics. Praised by NME and Radio One, this trio of Bristolians are a gem. The Echoes will support them in all their famous-to-be glory. With airwave worthy songs from their stunning EP ‘This isn’t Hollywood’, it would be a shame to miss them. Newly Signed band The Peppermint Hunting Lodge have a catalogue of great reviews. The six will offer you a slice of their unique, experimental, and self-created music genre. Dance Karate will also perform in the February Showcase – looking to be one of the best sets of the season.
13 March
From Bath to Glast’ fest, March’s session presents The Volt, 2008 winners of MTV’s ‘Get Seen Get Heard’. They have worked hard for their success but their sound will carry them all the way. Flawless, and at the Guildhall – not to be overlooked! BBC Introducing DJ Rob Champion heard something charming in this lad’s music, the final instalment will involve acoustic teen Tom Browning, playing tracks from his EP ‘Here Today’. Fresh from the studio, and the release of debut single ‘Skin’, The Joe Public are oozing live experience, and will put on a show to be seen. Josh Thorner will complete the set with mellow material and a heart stopping voice, definitely worth the wait.
